We are all holding our finisher's prizes: stawberries!So last week, Caleb, Isaiah, Joy, and I ran in the Strawberry Distance Challenge for a fundraiser. I have to laugh that it was labeled a "distance challenge" since a 5K is only 3.1 miles, which is my lowest training distance. We had to get up early, of course, which seems to be a common race theme, but we had a lot of fun. Caleb finished in like 23minutes and took 1st place for his age group. I was hoping to finish in under 30 minutes, but ended up taking 32min, 34 sec. Oh well! I have been training for distance not speed, right? :)
